The Avenel Project
The Avenel Project is the collection of films made at the historic Avenel House in Bedford, Virginia.
The project consists of Portrait of a Plantation, The Welcome Guest of Avenel (three original versions), Avenel the Motion Picture, The Raven - Edgar 'Allen' Poe at Avenel, and The Lady in White - Avenel in the Snow.
The Lady in White - Avenel in the Snow is a musical video shot after a gorgeous snowfall at Avenel House several years ago. The scenes were used in several of the Avenel productions.
This video is a tribute to the wonderful old home, and to the resident who still resides there, in her blinding white 'flounced' muslin dress. Music provided by Kevin MacLeod.
